Me Before You

Olá!
No ano passado ofereci à minha mãe, como uma das suas prendas de aniversário, uma ida ao cinema e decidi que ia começar a fazê-lo todos os anos. Em 2015 o filme escolhido foi o The Longest Ride, baseado num livro de Nicholas Sparks, um dos escritores favoritos dela; este ano, e como nenhum dos livros do autor foi adaptado ao cinema após o aniversário dela, escolhi o Me Before You, pois achei que se enquadraria no mesmo género.
Há duas semanas fomos ver o filme e vim cá partilhar a minha opinião com vocês.

Last year I offered my mum, as one of her birthday gifts, a "voucher" made by me that said that I was taking her to the movies and I decided that I should do it again this year. In 2015 the chosen movie was The Longest Ride, an adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks' book; this year, and since none of this authors' books was adapted to the movies after her birthday, I chosed Me Before You, because I thought it would be kind of the same genre.
We went to watch the movie two weeks ago and I thought I would share my opinions with you.

De certeza que todos vocês sabem qual é o filme, pois foi falado em todo o lado. Conta a história de Lou (Emilia Clarke) que precisa de arranjar um emprego para ajudar a sustentar a família. Fica a saber de uma vaga para acompanhar um rapaz paraplégico, concorre e fica com o lugar.
Esse rapaz é Will (Sam Claflin) e foi devido a um acidente que se tornou dependente de uma cadeira de rodas.
Cedo percebem que têm feitios muito diferentes: ela é divertida, faladora e todas as suas roupas chamam a atenção; ele é rabugento, por vezes antipático e tenta manter-se discreto o que faz com que não seja grande adepto de sair de casa.
Como seria de esperar, os dois apaixonam-se e Lou percebe que a cadeira de rodas não é, de todo, um obstáculo, principalmente quando descobre o que Sam tem planeado...mas não vou contar mais.
Gostei imenso do filme! Tem mais comédia do que estava à espera e parece-me toda necessária de forma a balançar com as partes mais dramáticas (preparem-se para muito choro).
A cinematografia é muito bem conseguida, principalmente devido às transições maravilhosas entre as cenas e a natureza.
Outra coisa que adorei foi o guarda-roupa da Lou - as peças são todas coloridas e com padrões amorosos e os sapatos nem se fala! Ela usa uma camisa que eu tenho e isso deixou-me muito feliz!
Para além disto podem contar com um elenco espectacular. Para além dos dois actores principais já mencionados, podem ver Matthew Lewis, Charles Dance, Brendan Coyle, Janet McTeer, etc.

I'm sure you all know about this movie, because it was talked about everywhere. It tells the story of Lou (Emilia Clarke) that needs to find a job so she can help the family. She gets to know about a family that needs someone to take care of a paraplegic guy, she tries to get it and she gets it.
This boy is Sam (William Traynor) and he is a wheel chair because of an accident.
Soon they realise how different they are: she is a funny girl, talks a lot and her clothes get all the attention; he is peevish, some times unpleasent and he tries to be as low profile as he can which means that he prefers to stay at home.
As you would've expect, they fall in love and soon Lou realised that the wheel chair is not, at all, the main obstacle, mainly when she finds out what is Sam's idea...but I won't tell you nothing more.
I really liked the movie! It has more comedy moments that I thought but they all seem necessary so there is a balance between the drama parts (prepare to cry a lot).
The cinematography is really well made, specially in the transition between the scenes and nature.
Another thing that I really loved were Lou's outifts. They are all so colourfull and with beautiful patterns, and I'm not even mentioning the amazing shoes! She wears a shirt that I own and that made me really happy!
Besides that you can count with amazing actors. In addition to the ones already mentioned, there is Matthew Lewis, Charles Dance, Brendan Coyle, Janet McTeer, etc.
