Olá!
Bem, finalmente consegui arranjar um tempinho para pôr o blog em dia. O problema tem sido tirar as fotografias que preciso para os posts, pois saio de casa com o sol a nascer e quando chego já não há muita luz.
Mas para este post acabei por achar que uma luz de candeeiro funcionaria melhor, simplesmente pelo tema do livro/filme. Acho que combina muito melhor do que com a luz do dia (a não ser que aproveitasse estes dias cinzentos).
Ora, venho falar-vos de Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, tanto o livro como o filme, sendo que deste modo posso fazer algumas comparações entre eles.

Me Before You

Olá!
No ano passado ofereci à minha mãe, como uma das suas prendas de aniversário, uma ida ao cinema e decidi que ia começar a fazê-lo todos os anos. Em 2015 o filme escolhido foi o The Longest Ride, baseado num livro de Nicholas Sparks, um dos escritores favoritos dela; este ano, e como nenhum dos livros do autor foi adaptado ao cinema após o aniversário dela, escolhi o Me Before You, pois achei que se enquadraria no mesmo género.
Há duas semanas fomos ver o filme e vim cá partilhar a minha opinião com vocês.

Last year I offered my mum, as one of her birthday gifts, a "voucher" made by me that said that I was taking her to the movies and I decided that I should do it again this year. In 2015 the chosen movie was The Longest Ride, an adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks' book; this year, and since none of this authors' books was adapted to the movies after her birthday, I chosed Me Before You, because I thought it would be kind of the same genre.
We went to watch the movie two weeks ago and I thought I would share my opinions with you.

Now You See Me 2

Olá!
Bem, o trabalho está mesmo quase terminado, então decidi fazer uma pausa para vos falar do último filme que fui ver ao cinema: Now You See Me 2.
Vou ser honesta e admitir que não tinha visto o primeiro, embora ele estivesse na minha watchlist há imenso tempo (entretanto a RTP transmitiu o filme e eu já o vi), por isso não tinha bem a certeza ao que ia. O facto de estar relacionado com ilusionismo foi o que me chamou a atenção e eu e o meu irmão decidimos ir vê-lo.

Well, my paper is almost done so I decided to make a little break to come and tell you about the last movie I saw in the cinema: Now You See Me 2.
I'm gonna be totally honest and tell you that I haven't seen the first one, although it was on my watchlist for a long time (meanwhile a portuguese tv channel trasmited the movie so I've already seen it), so I did not know for shure what I was going to watch. The fact that it involved ilusionism was what caught my attention and both me and brother decided to watch.

Como sabem, a noite passada foi dedicada aos Oscars e eu não podia deixar de cá vir dizer o que achei da noite.
Não vou falar de vestidos, embora vá mostrar os meus favoritos e os que não gostei assim tanto, mas que foram usados por nomeados, mas sim do que achei da noite em geral e dos vencedores.

E eis que chegamos ao dia dos Oscars! Quem está entusiasmado? Eu estou, ahah. Por isso, tal como vos disse no último post, tenho andado a ver alguns dos nomeados e venho cá falar-vos sobre mais alguns (depois prometo parar com posts de filmes por uns dias, ahah).
Só há poucos anos é que este meu interesse pelos Oscars e pelo mundo do cinema se implementou, então eu gosto de tentar ver o máximo que consiga ou queira (pois há filmes cujas temáticas/histórias ou tipos não me interessam, por isso não os vejo) para poder ter uma noção mais exacta do porquê dos filmes terem sido nomeados ou terem vencido prémios.
Hoje vou falar-vos de mais 8 filmes!

And here we are...it is Oscars day! Who's excited? I am, ahah. So, and as I did in the last post, I've been watching some of the nominees and I came here to tell you something about them (then I promise to stop with movie posts for some days, ahah).
This interest in the Oscars and in the movies world is something that I only started to grew since like two years ago (obviously I liked movies after that) and so I like to watch as many as I can or want (since there are some movies that have stories/themes or genres that do not interest me so I do not watch them) to have a more precise notion of why they were nominated or why they won the price.
Today I will talk about 8 movies.

Os Oscars estão mesmo aí à porta e eu tenho andado feita doida a ver os filmes nomeados para as principais categorias. Para não encher o blog de posts com reviews de filmes, decidi juntá-los todos em 2 posts. Não vi todos os nomeados, visto que nem todos são do meu género, mas achei que poderia partilhar convosco o que achei dos que vi.

Oscars are just around the corner and I've been like crazy watching the movies that are nominated for the principal categories. In order not to fill the blog only with posts about movies I decided to put them together in two posts. Spotlight

Olá!
Já há algum tempo que não trago o mundo do cinema ao blog e a caminho dos Oscars é altura de mudar isso.
Hoje vou falar-vos sobre o filme Spotlight, pois fui vê-lo recentemente e acho que é um excelente filme para ver, pois a história está muito bem contada e contém vários pormenores. Os actores têm, na minha opinião, interpretações brilhantes, mesmo aqueles que só aparecem 5 segundos, e conseguem fazer sentir a atmosfera que todos viveriam naquela altura.

For some time now that the movie world has not appeared on the blog and as we are walking to Oscars week I think that this is the perfect time to do it.
Today I will talk about the movie Spotlight because I watched it recently and I think that it is a great movie to watch, because the story is really well told and it has a lot of details. The actors have, in my opinion, a great interpretation, even the ones that only appear for 5 seconds, and they can make us feel the atmosphere they were going through at the time.

Aviso já que eu não gosto, mesmo nada, de filmes de terror e por isso as minhas sugestões são todas uma pouco mais ligeiras, mas, ainda assim, ligadas ao tema. Só há 2 filmes um pouco mais pesados.
